Plated (食光) is a meal diary app. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.
Diary content: the photos, notes, tags, and dates you add to your meals.
Account information, if you create an account: your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
To operate the app: show your diary, back it up if you choose to, and restore it on a new device.
To send account-related emails, such as verification and password-reset codes.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
By default, your diary is stored only on your device. If you create an account and back up, your data is also stored on secure cloud servers, transmitted over encrypted connections.
We use trusted third-party providers to host backups and deliver account emails. These providers only process your data as needed to provide those services.
You can export your diary at any time from Settings.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete account. This cannot be undone.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Questions? Open Plated and go to Settings → Contact & feedback.
